Collaborative Regional Development (CRD) planning of applies across the whole asset lifecycle and is a key approach in helping communities and local authorities to effectively manage social transition. Taking a wider geographic view and long-term perspective, opens opportunities to foster sustainable beyond mining in partnership with other organisations. Based on a rigorous spatial analysis, allows us to identify value chains with high-impact potential in order to reduce the region’s dependency on mining.
