4D.2 Guidance overview

Contents in this section:

Guidance

This section outlines a step-by-step guide to emergency management of site-induced emergencies that could impact on external stakeholders. The Social Way 3.0 follows the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) management method. To be successful in implementing this method, financial, material, and human resources, as well as strong leadership and a multi-disciplinary approach are required. Engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders is mandatory across the emergency management cycle to encourage co-development and participation to enhance ownership of the process. Key tasks are shown in Figure 4D.2 and discussed in this Section.
